The OCU is responsible for providing the drive control signals to the active differentials hydraulic unit (Dual Pressure Actuator or 'DPA').
The typical repair price range for the OCU is £1,350 to £1,700GBP (exc. UK VAT) depending on what we discover during testing. We’ll let you know after test & diagnosis if the repair price is likely to exceed the lowest price stated above.

Porsche 959 Output Performance Control unit (OCU) repair service
The Output Performance Control Unit (OCU) provides the high current drive control signals to the Dual Pressure Actuator (DPA). Both units are mounted under the front bonnet/hood. The DPA consists of 2x hydraulic pumps, 2x rapid action valves, several sensors and a hydraulic manifold.
The OCU is managed by the Function Control Unit (FCU). The complete system operates as a 'closed loop' controlling the rear and centre differentials.
The most common faults are loss of pressure control to either the hydraulic pump motors or the rapid action valves.
