Our Work

We're proud to share some of our vehicle electronics achievements

Expert Repairs, From Catalogue to Bespoke

From a growing catalog of common repairs to custom, one-off solutions for the world’s most prestigious cars.

There are two aspects to Movelectronics. The first is an ever-growing repair catalogue containing repair services that we know well.

The second is a range of bespoke diagnosis and repair services. Here we apply our design-level electronics expertise and internally developed processes to repair the 'one-offs'. These are typically very rare and/or expensive electronics modules from prestige cars, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Maserati. We apply a wide range of the latest technology including internally developed ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), digital microscopes, thermal imaging and hot-air solder reflow.

Behind the Scenes of Bespoke Repairs

See how our expertise brings rare Ferrari and Porsche modules back to life, with full transparency at every step.

We frequently share images and videos with our customers globally. Total transparency that puts our customers firmly in control. Here's an insight into some of our bespoke work.

Porsche 959

Porsche 959 Drive Control Unit. This ECU was one of the first in the world to control active differentials. The ECU would not boot up. Only 300 cars made (1986-87). Availability: None. We've now successfully repaired 2 out of 2 of these.

Additionally we've also repaired the turbo boost control ECU for another 959. Currently working on the active suspension system.

Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari Enzo Front Suspension Lift Unit. We had two of these to repair. Both non-functional with burn damage.

One was severely burned (photo). We reverse engineered the entire circuit design, Absolutely no other documentation to work from. After determining the control signals from the circuit diagram we were able to successfully repair and test both units.

Carbon fibre resin used to repair the burned PCB substrate for future durability.

Ferrari 599

Ferrari 599 TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring) ECU. Working with HR Owen Ferrari in London we developed a repair for these control units.

They have not been available for some time from Ferrari and are difficult to find for sale used. This repair is extensive for such a small module and involves software as well as hardware.

After initial development and testing we've now reached a 100% success rate with these modules. They are also found in other Ferrari and Maserati models from the same era.
