Porsche 959 Motronic Engine ECU repair service
The 959 Motronic ECU controls the engine fuel injectors, 2 for each of 6 cylinders, and the spark ignition driving a single coil. The Turbos are controlled by another ECU known as LDR4 (see separate listing). The 2 units are identical in appearance and are both located under the passenger (right) seat. Please check carefully.
Fault symptoms include engine misfires poor cold or hot starting, lack of throttle response and engine no-start.
