Common issues with the F8 instrument cluster include failed tachometer backlight, left or right LCD failure (dark, all white or lines/distortion), communications (CAN bus) failure.
Note that the infotainment display signal is supplied via a dedicated video cable from the infotainment (NIT) module. If a fault is only seen with the infotainment display, please ensure the NIT unit and related cables are all functioning correctly.
