Ferrari 430, 612 and 599 TCU transmission control module
This repair is for the 'F1' robotised manual automatic transmission control module. The TCU manages the clutch, gear selection and the hydraulic oil pump.
Faults include poor gear shifting, gear shift failure, clutch operation failure, F1 system hydraulic pump not engaging or stuck on, and no CAN bus communication. These are sometimes accompanied by stored TCU fault codes that may include a low battery voltage fault despite power supply to the TCU being satisfactory.
We advise checking TCU power and ground connections, F1 system hydraulic oil pressure and transmission solenoid operation prior to determining the TCU is at fault.
