The most common issues with the F355 tachometer are:

(1) Speedo shoots up showing a high speed as soon as the ignition is switched on. The odometer also adds miles travelled in line with erroneous speed reading.

(2) No speed reading, odometer not working.

Important Note:

The speedometer unit outputs a speed pulse signal that is used by the engine ECU, F1 transmission TCU and suspension control unit. This speed signal is essential for the correct operation of these systems.
