  • The CCM module is located behind the left interior rear quarter boot trim in coupe models and behind a trim panel behind the right seat in the Roadster. The module controls the following functions in the TT:

    o Central locking

    o Safe/deadlocks

    o Interior light

o Remote controlled locking (from the key buttons)

    o Petrol/gas flap release

    o Tailgate release

    o Electric windows (partial control)

o Alarm system (note that failure of the alarm siren is usually a failed siren unit)

    o Roadster roof control

A fault with one or more of the above can indicate a CCM fault.

Using our bespoke computer controlled test system we are able to fully bench the CCM including the automatic unlocking feature triggered by a crash signal from the airbag module.

In Roadster models they are very susceptible to water ingress caused by a leaking rear window and/or blocked roof drains.

Please note that the TT's immobiliser is a completely separate system contained in the instrument cluster. However, some early model TTs in North America had a basic immobiliser in the CCM instead of in the cluster. Check if your TT runs with the CCM removed to verify.

The lower repair price listed includes the most common repairs but where additional parts are required this may increase the cost. If additional costs are likely to be incurred we'll get in touch before repairs.

The CCM does not require coding to your TT after repairs.
